Dear Maya,
I've been writing to you a little less frequently because I'm back at work.
I think overall Daddy, Maria and I have found a really good balance so that we each get to spend lots of time with you. You are a happy and well-adjusted baby.
Daddy's job gets him home around 4:30, and I am home around 2p two days a week.
Mummy's on call can be taxing, but we are doing it Maya, and raising you well.
So in the title I mentioned that you were smiling and talking, but I didn't give away that you're also reading. Yes! Here you are reading Auntie Oneeka's book, Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo's Mission to Pluto. We are so proud of her creation. In addition to reading, I think you also enjoy eating the bookmark.
The other big surprise announcement is that you're eating! The pediatrician said you can have food for "taste not calories", and so you've enjoyed banana, pear and carrot. You are an avid eater.

In the great outdoors, Daddy bought you your very own swing, and just in time for the nice weather.
